The Mkultra project, back in the 1950’s the CIA wanted to use LSD as a way of mind control and chemical warfare. Their main subjects were mentally ill patients, secondary subjects were other government personnel. But why on mentally ill patients? Lsd basically affects most of your G protein coupling receptors and your D2 receptors, including all dopamine receptor subtypes and all adrenoreceptor subtypes.
Now people with mental disorders such as schizophrenia, have an overproduction of D2 and G protein, along with the overproduction of serotonin and dopamine. So people with that are basically already “Tripping” and are already going through all sensory hallucinations. I have an issue with that because the CIA took people that already have a hard enough time understanding reality and pump them full of a chemical that mimics that tenfold in the hopes of obtaining a means of mind control.
It’s easy to take control of an already broken mind, one that is weakened by itself already, after that all that would need to be done is to create a sensible reality and somehow mend the subject into believing you’re the superior entity of said reality. The test should have been done on more mentally healthy people to get the best results. That is because a healthy mind has no over production of chemicals, everything is balanced to keep you running right.
But you need to be mentally weak in order for mind control. A healthy mind would never believe an alternate reality other than the one that is present.
i dont know how i feel about this but the idea is cool. i just dislike the manipulation

It is a cool idea but the way things were done were unnecessary.

That reminds me that one government project… something rather. You know. I have heard so much about projects that blind the participants by harming them or harming the study outcome. “A healthy mind would never believe an alternate reality other than the one that is present.” So if someone is going through a bad trip on LSD, does that mean they are not mentally healthy?

no necessarily. It could also happen because something just scares the crap out of you and since LSD is such a powerful mind altering drug that it just cause a bad trip. For mentally unstable minds the effects could be more devastating, such as always having a bad trip, or never coming out of the trip, something called psychosis.
